I was thoroughly impressed with the research, the scope of the material, and its presentation. Malcolm Ebright gives us an easily readable work, and a peak into the issue of land grant cases in the Territory of New Mexico.

This is by no means an exhaustive treatise on the topic and one feels that the author could easily write another thirty volumes on the topic. I would love to review this book. Sorry for that.
